Maybe I've just been unlucky and had really crappy experiences in my 20 or so hours of playing GB but from my perspective the player base have migrated over from RB6 Siege taking their bad habits with them. Yet the "Tactical community" is a niche community within a niche genre? It just doesn't make sense.ĭo I expect public games / pick up games or what ever you want to call it to be super super organised? no obviously not, but just some BASIC team work and communication would be nice. Yet 90% of games I join no one has a mic, no one communicates, everyone just runs off chasing a kill count with an itchy trigger finger popping off at anything that moves (typically they'll die quickly and then cry that the difficulty needs to be lowered.) Where are these players coming from and why are they here? If that's your play style that's cool but that's why games like COD and Battlefield exist? The realistic / tactical shooter genre is a niche market, we haven't had a solid tactical shooter since the days of RvS and SWAT. but the player base does not resemble what this game is supposed to be, a slow paced TEAM based TACTICAL first person shooter. Not because of the game itself, even in early access the game is amazing and there is a lot of evident potential in GB.
All the 'beginner tips' and GB review videos I have seen on Youtube have set me up for major disappointment with this title.
